China's international parcel export logistics industry continued its robust expansion in 2025, with total export value exceeding USD 295 billion, according to the latest China International Parcel Logistics Development Report (2026) jointly released by the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing and AIMZ123. The report highlights the sector's resilience and sustained growth amid evolving global trade dynamics, reinforcing China's position as a key driver of cross-border commerce.
Industry analysts note that the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce remains a major catalyst behind the sector's growth. Strong international demand for Chinese consumer goods, combined with ongoing improvements in logistics infrastructure, digital supply chain management, and transportation efficiency, has significantly enhanced the competitiveness of China's parcel export market. The report forecasts continued expansion as global online retail activity remains strong.
Among major export categories, mechanical and electrical products maintained their leading position, accounting for approximately one-third of China's total parcel export volume. The strong performance reflects increasing overseas demand for Chinese-manufactured equipment, industrial products, and high-value-added goods. Exports linked to international infrastructure projects and advanced manufacturing industries also provided substantial support to overall logistics demand.
Looking ahead, industry experts expect China's parcel export logistics sector to benefit from deeper global supply chain integration, technological innovation, and expanding international trade partnerships. As businesses continue to diversify overseas markets and strengthen fulfillment capabilities, the industry is expected to play an increasingly important role in facilitating global trade and supporting China's long-term export growth strategy.
