Amazon Launches “Amazon Now” Rapid Delivery in the U.S
May 13, 2026 — Amazon has officially launched Amazon Now, offering ultra-fast delivery across the U.S., with orders arriving in as little as 30 minutes. The service currently operates in major cities including Atlanta, Dallas-Fort Worth, Philadelphia, and Seattle, with plans to expand to more locations by year-end.
Amazon Now relies on Micro-Fulfillment Centers near residential areas to store high-demand items, including groceries, household goods, and electronics. Using data-driven logistics, Amazon pre-positions popular products for faster delivery.
Deliveries are handled via Amazon Flex couriers, with many areas supporting 24-hour delivery. Prime members pay $3.99 per order, non-Prime $13.99, with small order fees applied for orders under $15.
This launch strengthens Amazon’s rapid delivery network, complementing same-day, next-day, and 1–3 hour delivery services, and highlights its growing presence in the Quick Commerce sector.
